- June 4: Patrick Barnett at Chuck’s Marina
- 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm | Friday On The Green is family friendly, we’ll throw out the games, restock the bags in the Dog Waste Station, restock the insect repellant and have everything ready for you! Food will be available from Big Mike’s BBQ!
- June 6-14: Sun Festival
- Join Alexander City and the Lake Martin area for the 13th Annual Sun Festival! For 9 fun-filled days, enjoy a festival comprised of events and activities with something for the whole family. Visit local restaurants, merchants, and more for special offers and friendly competition in the Medallion Hunt! - June 6: Russell Marine Chris-Craft Event
- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm | Come spend the day on beautiful Lake Martin with the Chris-Craft team, connect with current owners, explore stunning new models, and enjoy the relaxed, luxury-on-the-lake atmosphere Chris-Craft is known for.
- June 6: Sun Festival Red, White & Run 5k
- 8:00 am – 10:00 am | Whether you’re racing for a personal best or just out to enjoy the fun, this high-energy event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Dress in your best red, white, and blue and hit the course for a morning full of community spirit, movement, and celebration. You can register here.
- June 6: Dixie Sailing Club Annual Introduction to Sailing
- 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | Guests will have an opportunity to skipper a small sailboat (if they so desire) and go sailing on larger boats with club members. - June 6: The Black Jacket Symphony presents Bon Jovi
- 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm | Get ready for a night of arena rock anthems under the stars as The Black Jacket Symphony returns to Lake Martin with a full recreation of ‘Slippery When Wet’, the iconic album by Bon Jovi. You can buy tickets here.
- June 9: Hittin’ the Links Glow-in-the-Dark Golf Tournament
- 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm | This unique tournament will begin with standard golf on the first nine holes. After the first nine holes, dinner will be served before continuing with glow-in-the-dark golf for the final nine holes after sunset. The cost is only $45 per person, which includes tournament entry, cart, dinner, and glow-in-the-dark supplies. The format for scoring is a 4-person scramble. Space is limited, so be sure to call the Alexander City Chamber at 256-234-3461 or stop by 175 Aliant Parkway to register early.

- 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm | Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to the game, don’t miss out on the excitement of the Sun Festival Pickleball Tournament. Pick your partner and register now to secure your spot and be part of the pickleball action! Format will be mixed doubles. Cost to participate is $50 per team. - 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm | This guided lake excursion offers a unique opportunity to explore the area’s natural habitats, learn about local ecology, and enjoy scenic views along the water. Spots are limited, so reserve your place early for this unforgettable experience. Cost is $25 per person.

- 8:00 am – 10:00 am | This year’s event is extra special as we honor 100 years of Lake Martin with an evening of great food, community fellowship, live entertainment, and un.
